Tuition, refunds, and missed classes.
Courses are small on purpose, so a seat you hold is a seat another family cannot take. These are the rules, and they are short.
Before the course starts
Withdraw any time before the first session and you get a full refund.
Once the course starts
Tuition is final. We have held the seat and planned the group around your student.
If your student misses a class
Life happens. If a student misses one or two sessions of a four-week course, they can retake the same course free the next time it runs. Just tell us and we will hold them a seat.
If we cancel or reschedule
If we cancel a course or move it to a time that does not work for you, you choose: a full refund or a credit toward another course.
Step Up scholarship seats
The policy above applies to scholarship seats too. One thing works differently, and the program requires it: if we do issue a refund on a seat paid with scholarship funds, that money goes back to Step Up For Students and is credited to your student's scholarship account. It cannot be paid to you directly. Unused scholarship funds stay in your student's account. Our vendor approval is in progress, and we will confirm the current details with families before any scholarship seat is booked.
